Matthew “MattsterXII” Nguyen is completing his Master’s in Professional Writing at the University of Oklahoma. He specializes in sci-fi and fantasy narratives that explore the human condition, filled with superpowers, magic, high-octane action, and surreal worlds. As Narrative Director for OU’s Game Developer’s Association, he teaches members to use storytelling to craft immersive and memorable experiences. Matt enjoys working at coffee shops, listening to Olivia Rodrigo on repeat, and roaming campus to hit his 50-kilometer-plus weekly Pokémon GO quota—because why write about adventure if you’re not living one?
